Hello! My name is Nylene and I would love to be your next photographer. I’ve always been passionate about capturing the precious moments life has to offer—whether it’s celebrating a graduation, welcoming a new family member, or simply boosting confidence, photos have such value. It’s no lie that a picture is worth a thousand words! As a young mom, capturing those priceless memories has become more important to me than ever. No matter the reason for your shoot, you can trust that I’ll do my best to take photos you’ll love forever.
My Photography Background
A slow-but-steady journey
I have been taking photos since high school! Originally, I began by taking my friends' senior photos and bringing a camera on adventures for photo ops and for-fun portraits to spice up our social media accounts. Upon returning from a full-time mission for my church, I branched into more photography realms—proposals, friend photos, infant shoots, families, graduation portraits, etc.—for people in my circles for on a pay-what-you-can basis. After getting married, I finally initiated my first jump into the professional photography world and started asking specific payments for my photos (gasp!). Now, following a brief hiatus during the pregnancy and postpartum period of my first kiddo, I am delving into photography with more passion than ever. Though I am far from considering myself an expert, I have spent years exploring and learning about lighting, location scouting, posing, and editing and consider myself an excellent candidate for your next photographer needs.

A key aspect of my enterprise is affordability. As recent college graduates that log every dollar spent in an in-depth budget, my husband and I are no strangers to how challenging it can be to get beautiful photos without breaking the bank. That’s why I am committed to providing quality pictures to you wherever you are at—whatever your price range, we can come up with a solution that allows you to memorialize your special moments. Policies
Social Media Use
A deposit of 25% of your total booking cost will be required to hold your dates. If you need to reschedule, the deposit will go towards your new booking. In the event of cancellation, the deposit will be retained.
Deposits
I use images from most of my sessions to strengthen my online portfolio. If there are constraints you would like me to follow (i.e., refraining from showing your child's face) or you are uncomfortable with me using your photos for this purpose, please let me know.
Image Altering
Personal alteration or editing of my work is not permitted. If you would like something in your photos changed, contact me and I will do my best to accommodate your needs and make sure you love your final product!
FAQ
How long after a shoot will I receive my photos?
Gallery turnaround is dependent on session type. Generally, galleries are sent out within two weeks of a shoot. For proposals and "Fresh 48" sessions, galleries are completed within five days.
If you have a specific timeline or constraint and need your photos sooner, please specify in your booking request—usually, I am able to accommodate.
Are travel expenses included in your packages?
For shoots located within a certain range, my travel expenses are included in the overall booking cost. When a session takes place outside of my standard area, a per-mile fee is applied. See "Pricing" for more information.
Where will our session take place?
I am based in Utah County and most of my primary locations are nearby. Beyond that, where we take your photos is largely up to you! Upon receiving your booking request, I will work with you to choose the perfect backdrop for your session.
*I do not currently provide studio sessions.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
In cases of inclement weather, there are two options: reschedule for a later date or embrace the moment! I check weather and lighting conditions in the days leading up to a shoot and will communicate any concerns with you at that time.
How many people can be in my photo session?
Standard photo sessions allow up to eight people. If your group is larger (e.g., extended family, reunion, party, etc.), additional fees apply. See "Pricing" for more information.
How will my photos be delivered?
I use Pixieset to deliver all my galleries. Once your images are ready, you will receive an email with a download pin that allows you to save your photos to your own device(s). You will have access to your photos for four weeks before they are removed from my Pixieset collections.
What if I want the original RAW Photo files?
In order to preserve my work and maintain consistency, I do not share unedited photos. If you have specific editing requests, let me know in advance—if they fall within my skillset and match my general photography style, I'm happy to oblige! If not, I would encourage you to find a photographer that better matches your desired aesthetic.
Will my photos be watermarked?
Nope! I believe everyone should have photos free from markings and logos.
